Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement
By booking and paying for a puppy class with Kay 9 Training, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Puppies must have received their first vaccination at least seven (7) days before the course start date and provide proof of vaccination at the first session.
2.2 Puppies must be fit, healthy and free from contagious illness.
2.3 Owners must inform Kay 9 Training of any illness, injury, behavioural concerns or veterinary restrictions before attending class.
2.4 Kay 9 Training reserves the right to refuse attendance where a puppy's health or behaviour may compromise the safety or welfare of others.
3. Owner Responsibilities
3.1 Owners confirm they are the puppy's legal owner or have authority to attend with the puppy.
3.2 Owners remain responsible for their puppy at all times during classes.
3.3 Puppies must remain on lead unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.
3.4 Owners must clean up after their puppy and dispose of waste appropriately.
3.5 Children attending classes remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian.
4. Booking and Payment
4.1 A place is only secured upon receipt of full payment.
4.2 Course fees must be paid before the course start date.
4.3 Places may not be transferred without prior written agreement.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date will receive a full refund.
5.2 Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date are non-refundable unless the place can be filled from a waiting list.
5.3 Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another course.
5.4 If Kay 9 Training cancels a class, an alternative date or suitable refund will be offered.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Owners must follow all instructions provided by the trainer.
6.2 Any aggressive, dangerous or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal from class.
6.3 Kay 9 Training may recommend private training if a group class is not suitable.
7. Photography and Video
7.1 Photographs and videos may be taken during classes.
7.2 Images may be used for marketing, social media, websites, printed materials and promotional purposes where consent has been provided.
7.3 Clients may withdraw consent at any time by contacting Kay 9 Training.
8. Liability
8.1 Participation is at the owner's own risk.
8.2 Kay 9 Training accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, injury or illness except where caused by negligence.
8.3 Kay 9 Training will not be liable for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded by law.
9. Data Protection
9.1 Personal information will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9.2 Information is collected solely for the administration and safe operation of classes.

10. Force Majeure
Kay 9 Training shall not be liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, venue closure, government restrictions or illness.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
